Princess Lyra stood at the balcony, watching another harvest festival begin far below.

Music echoed through the streets.

Children laughed.

Merchants filled the squares.

Everything looked peaceful.

Yet the castle's oldest bells rang unexpectedly.

Every servant froze.

The king immediately stood.
