Flowers appeared outside the palace walls.
Candles lined the streets.
Citizens openly wept.
An old merchant who had once called her a traitor spent days apologizing before her statue.
Children began leaving handwritten notes beside the flowers.

A towering white marble statue of Princess Lyanna.

At its base were words taken from her final letter:
